On my walk along 16th to the knitting bench, I enjoyed the sidewalk chalking, especially this one with the copyright.

I thought about rejection, and my experience of being an uncool American kid who grew up in Thailand…how my childhood has made me want to welcome people who are different.  It’s given me an intense longing for connection.  My wound is my greatest strength.

Knit from 7:30 – 8:30.  Quiet Saturday morning interrupted briefly by shrieking sea gulls tailgating a bald eagle.
